Shang Palace restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi invites all foodies in the capital to test their photography skills and take the best picture of their new Dim Sum menu for a chance of winning fantastic prizes. Filled with authentic Cantonese flavours and carefully crafted by master Dim Sum chefs. The new lunch menu features a diverse range of traditional dim sum, soup and wok dishes, such as pear-shaped deep-fried crispy BBQ chicken puffssteamed wild mushroom buns with chicken and oyster sauce, and steamed “Cheng Feng” crispy waffle scallop and shrimp rolls in the form of a sushi roll. To enter the competition, guests must order the new menu at Shang Palace, snap a picture of their favourite food item and post it on their Instagram feed and as a story, using #DimSumChallenge and tagging @ShangriLaAbuDhabi. Available daily from 12pm to 3pm. AED 138 (food only) and AED 168 (including tea and soft beverages).

One Meter Kofta Kebab Experience at Sambusek, Rosewood Abu Dhabi: 

For the month of February, Sambusek offers its unforgettable one-meter long kofta kebab experience, bringing together family and friends around the dining table to share truly mouthwatering food in a unique setting overlooking the calming waters of Al Maryah Island. Diners will be able to enjoy an impressive 700 grams of kofta, traditionally prepared and cooked on a meter-long skewer, with a gorgeous selection of Mediterranean vegetables including tomatoes, onions and grilled mushrooms. The kebab, garnished with parsley and fried nuts, is elegantly presented by the restaurant’s highly skilled chefs and served to guests at their table. Daily until 28 February, from 12pm to 12:30am. AED 290 per order.

Mixology Class at Le Marta, Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi:

Marta Bar’s well-versed bartenders have been working hard on showcasing their creativity and techniques while carefully crafting the new Mixology Winter Menu. Guests will share their choice of base and whether they enjoy smokey or fruity flavours, while the bartenders start to work on some unique blends, explaining the process and giving tasters in between. If guests wish to add a few drops of bitters, another taster will be offered. The idea is to curate a unique and “spontaneous” beverage that caters to each guests’ taste buds. Throughout this journey, the guests will be offered a canapé selection. Daily from 12pm to midnight. AED 200 AED per person (one-hour session).

Enjoy a Latin American brunch at VaKaVa at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers:

The Trip at VaKaVa Brunch invites guests to embark on an enlightening epicurean experience. Drawing on traditional rituals that are intrinsic to Latin America, guests will be guided through a mystical world of decadent discoveries designed to stimulate the senses. The table-service experience will feature a selection of hot and cold starters followed by a choice of signature mains before ending with a classic dessert. The launch menu will feature guacamole, scallop tiradito, beef filet anticucho and wild mushroom coca flatbread to start. Straight from the grill, the mains will be a choice of striploin steak topped with chimichurri or sea bass infused with lemongrass, ginger and miso. Those with a sweet tooth will delight in ending their meal with La Bomba, an indulgent package concealing an explosion of flavours. Fridays from 2pm to 5pm.
