ATHR Foundation
Emerging artists in Saudi Arabia, this one’s for you. The ATHR Foundation has an exclusive spot for you at the Young Saudi Artists (YSA) exhibition and it seeks conceptual expressions of purpose across various art styles. This year’s theme is On Purpose, so whether you’re an introspective painter, a thought-provoking photographer, or an abstract sculptor, this exhibition welcomes your creative voice. If selected, you’ll get to display your work in a group show in Riyadh this November. The deadline is 2 September.

Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024
Calling all sculptors. Saudi Arabia’s Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024 — taking place from January to February, 2024 — is your chance to shine. This year’s theme is Dimensions of Movement, and it’s all about capturing the unstoppable energy of Riyadh’s transformation and the spirit of progress in stone form. Thirty lucky artists will score an invite to the symposium in Riyadh, and get the chance to sculpt magnificent large-scale wonders from Saudi granite — all expenses paid. The deadline is 31 August.

UAE Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2025
Now who wouldn’t want to be a part of the prestigious Venice Biennale? Here’s your chance to represent the UAE at the Venice Biennale taking place in 2025. This is no ordinary gig. This is a platform for the exchange of ideas and the celebration of architectural brilliance. And the UAE Pavilion is on the lookout for proposals that’ll reveal the untold stories of the country and put them on the global stage. The deadline is 24 September.
