Catch the artists Gaudi, Kandinsky and Klee at The Dubai Mall.
Infinity des Lumieres is famous for giving art a digital upgrade. The immersive art experience is back with a new show at The Dubai Mall, Gaudi, Kandinsky & Klee: Raise Vibration, which celebrates the artists Antoni Gaudi, Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee.
The Dubai Mall is home to the largest digital art venue in the region. Infinity des Lumieres brings together 130 projectors, 58 speakers, 3,000 moving images, which are projected onto surfaces to create a multi-sensory experience. So, when you visit the one-of-a-kind show, it feels like the artwork has come to life and you are stepping right inside a painting.
Gaudi, Kandinsky & Klee: Raise Vibration spans three spaces and each one is dedicated to a different artist. Gaudi: The Architect of the Imaginary brings to life the Catalan painter’s work, especially his world-famous Spanish architecture, from Sagrada Familia to Park Guell.
Kandinsky: The Odyssey of Abstraction showcases the Russian painter and art theorist’s early work, which was influenced by Impressionism. Paul Klee: Painting Music explores the Swiss-German painter and musician’s take on Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism, as displays range from geometric structures to multicoloured fishes.
Infinity des Lumieres’ previously celebrated the works of Vincent van Gogh, which gave visitors the chance to enter their very own Starry Night. If the last exhibition is anything to go by, this is set to be a captivating experience.
Gaudi, Kandinsky & Klee: Raise Vibration opens on 23 September, and tickets go on sale on 10 August. The exhibition is open from Fridays to Tuesdays from 10am to 1am, and Wednesdays to Thursdays 10am to midnight. It’s time to paint the town.
