The world’s largest fountain will turn green for St. Patrick’s Day

Marvel at a spectacular Riverdance show every hour on 17 March.

As if you needed another excuse to visit The Pointe, Dubai’s lifestyle destination on Palm Jumeirah. The waterfront retail and dining hub is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special performance from the world’s largest fountain, set to the soundtrack of Bill Whelan’s Riverdance.

The mammoth attraction, which spreads over 14,000 sqft of seawater and reaches heights of 105 metres, will be illuminated in glorious green by over 3,000 LED lights. The Palm Fountain joins landmarks and sites across 55 countries to light up in green as part of Tourism Ireland’s celebrations.

The show will start at 7pm on Wednesday 17 March and will be repeated every hour. The Palm Monorail leading to Atlantis will also be illuminated in celebration of Tourism Ireland’s Global Greening initiative.

In addition to the waterfront show, visitors to The Pointe can also indulge in several exciting St. Patrick’s Day dining options and happy hour offers across a variety of eateries, including:

A Cappela: Enjoy happy hour drinks starting from only AED25. (0)4 589 6788.
