This casual DIFC restaurant has a new menu that’s too good to miss

To start the new year, the culinary team at Original Wings & Rings has whipped up a brand new menu of salads, burgers and (of course) wings to satiate the DIFC crowd’s appetite. 

Highlights from the new menu include brand new dishes like breaded mushrooms which showcase crispy hand-breaded mushrooms with a tangy and somewhat addictive dipping sauce. There’s also the Asiana chicken salad which effortlessly combines sweet chilli popcorn chicken with greens, corn and cucumbers, and is topped with breaded onion slivers for the ultimate crunchy texture!

If wings are your thing, then the glorious chicken appendages come in four varieties – traditional, boneless, breaded and crispy. With 12 moreish dipping sauces offered, you can expect to be torn between Lemon Pepper, Bourbon BBQ, Roasted Garlic and the new Sweet Sriracha which provides a mix of Thai flavours and a hit of both sweetness and heat to the palate.

If you have room, the speciality burgers come highly recommended. From the unassuming Buffalo Chicken with its crunchy chicken breast topped with breaded onions slivers, lettuce and pickles, to the more adventurous El Diablo which packs a punch thanks to a pleasing combination of chicken breast, spicy melted cheese, Sriracha sauce, jalapeños, lettuce, pickles and chipotle ranch. All beef and chicken burgers feature a pillow-light brioche bun and are served with French fries and homemade coleslaw. Though for the ultimate hit of nostalgia we’d recommend trading out the fries for a portion of golden curly fries.
