AN EVENT FOR THE COMMUNITY BY THE COMMUNITY: BREAKOUT DXB

A one-day culture and arts festival is coming to Dubai next month!

A brand-new culture and arts event is set to showcase a stacked line-up of homegrown creative talent at Rove Downtown, on the 6 November 2020.

While creatives and artists have found themselves out of work for over six months due to the pandemic restrictions, Breakout DXB aims to celebrate and support the diverse homegrown talent in the UAE! Breakout DXB will bring together an array of the UAE’s best talent, including headline music from Layla Kardan, Hamdan Al Abri, Lobito Brigante, Big Hass and Charl Chaka.

You can expect visual art installations, exclusive film screenings, gaming competitions and other immersive experiences, along with food pop-ups, market stalls and other exciting activations. Fans of all things art and culture can enjoy all these experiences and more, in a safe controlled environment, in partnership with Gallowglass – industry leaders in event health and safety.

The event will also host panel discussions, workshops and talks in support of independent creative talent, with a focus on working together to restart the music and events industry in the UAE.

“Breakout DXB is all about supporting these independent talents and giving the industry the kickstart it needs to recover while taking every step necessary to work closely with our international health and safety partner Gallowglass and event partner Rove Hotels, to create a safe, controlled and fun environment for fans to rediscover the magic of a live event,” said Dan Bolton, co-organiser of Breakout DXB.

As a first-of-it’s-kind event for the city, Breakout DXB sounds like a live event not to be missed. Tickets are available at AED 249 per person, inclusive of a food voucher redeemable at any food and beverage outlets at the event.
