Beirut’s celebrated Em Sherif Café opens in Dubai.

This luxurious Middle Eastern spot will give you all the beautiful Beirut feels.

The café destination from Lebanon opened its doors this October in Al Manzil Downtown Dubai, overlooking the world-famous Dubai Fountains and Burj Khalifa.

Entering into the two-floored licensed café created by Mireille Hayek, also known as “Em Sherif”, guests will discover a harmonious fusion between oriental and modern. Delicately decorated with souvenirs of the Oriental World, Hayek’s own personal touches are apparent, highlighting her warm and welcoming character, and evoking a community and family environment.

Em Sherif Cafe is set to mesmerise the palates with authentic flavours from the Middle East. All ingredients are chosen with a personal touch, from the fresh produce to the succulent meats, to surprise and delight guests with innovative dishes and attentive, personalised service.

The menu will include an extensive selection of salads, cold and hot mezze with signature delicacies such as the famous Tabbouleh with its three variations, lentil salad, creamy hummus with pine nuts, mloukhiye bel Zeit, kishk and awarma, shrimps with red chilli sauce and a la provencal. Em Sherif Café menu also includes a daily dish and mains such as the famous chicken msakhan and everyone’s favourite grills and sandwiches.

Celebrated for her legendary lunches and dinners where fine cuisine, quirky décor, innovation and a unique atmosphere come together, Mireille Hayek was inspired to open Em Sherif Café after the success of Em Sherif Restaurant in the region. The all-day-dining cafe was conceptualised and designed to transport visitors to a forgotten oriental dream away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Em Sherif is open seven days a week with service from 12pm to midnight on weekdays and until 1am on weekends.
