Netsu introduces new Wagyu Extra menu

An exciting addition to the popular Japanese steakhouse at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira.

Netsu is a Japanese Steakhouse from acclaimed Chef Ross Shonhan that has cemented itself as one of the Dubai’s top Japanese restaurants since opening at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai in early 2019.

The acclaimed restaurant’s unique selling point is the use of the traditional Japanese cooking technique of Warayaki, also know as straw fire cooking, alongside striking interiors and a sophisticated atmosphere.

Keeping things exciting and fresh, Netsu has introduced the new Wagyu Extra menu, available daily from 6:30pm to 8pm. This four-course menu designed by Chef Ross Shonhan comprises of premium Wagyu creations paired with grapes or a selection of sake. 

The experience starts with the sublime flavours of Wagyu Gunkan with Oscietra caviar sushi, nigiri sushi with summer black truffle, Wagyu gyoza and continues with the steak sando topped with gold flakes and Warayaki-style Wagyu steaks grilled to perfection. Complementing the experience is the Japanese shaved ice Mango Kakigori for dessert.

Dine al fresco on the large terrace beside the pool or dine inside and enjoy a theatrical ambience as flames curve around the kitchen counter as Netsu’s chef’s torch the straw.
