THE WORLD’S LARGEST FOUNTAIN IS HERE!

14,000 sqft, 105 meters in height, 3000 LED lights!

As if you needed another reason to visit The Pointe, Dubai’s lifestyle destination on Palm Jumeirah. The retail and dining hub from Nakheel Malls will launch the world’s largest fountain ‘The Palm Fountain’ with a Guinness World Record attempt on Thursday, October 22.

Dubai’s latest attraction is spread over 14,000 sqft of seawater, will reach heights of 105 metres and is illuminated with over 3,000 LED lights! The Palm Fountain differentiates itself from the Dubai Fountains at Burj Khalifa because it is the only multi-coloured fountain in Dubai.

The Palm Fountain will offer 20 bespoke shows with five different shows running daily between sunset and midnight. While we wait with baited breathe as to which songs the fountains are expected to dance too, we’ve been informed that it will be a mix of Khaleeji, pop, classical and international hits. Each show will last for three minutes, with performances taking place every 30 minutes.

Omar Khoory, Managing Director, Nakheel Malls, said: “Nakheel Malls is proud to launch The Palm Fountain, a celebration of Dubai’s resilience and building on the expanding portfolio of iconic attractions on Palm Jumeirah. As pioneers of retail and lifestyle destinations in Dubai, the launch of The Palm Fountain is a testament to our commitment to support retailers and push boundaries to provide our customers with unique experiences. We look forward to the inspiration this will bring customers at The Pointe, residents of Palm Jumeirah, our retailers, tourists and the wider community”.

October 22 marks the day of the launch event, where visitors to The Pointe are invited to enjoy an evening of festivities from 4pm, including competitions, DJ sets, dance shows, performers and fireworks. Once the clock strikes 8pm, spectators will be the first to enjoy the breathtaking views of The Palm Fountain show and the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘world’s largest fountain.’

Shaddy Gaad, Senior Marketing Manager – MENA, Guinness World Records, said: “This is a great addition to Dubai’s long list of attractions that make this city iconic. GWR is in the process of verifying the Largest fountain, and we look forward to hopefully seeing this world-class landmark being declared Officially Amazing™.”

The event is open to the public upon registration via platinumlist.net. For guaranteed restaurant seating, it is highly advised to reserve a table at any of the restaurants at The Pointe.
