In town to promote his latest film, the megastar will be heading to Dubai Mall’s Reel Cinemas.

In a dazzling display of stardom, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, descended upon Dubai, setting the city abuzz with excitement. He is promoting his latest film, Dunki, and has triggered a fan frenzy, with hundreds eagerly gathering across the city to catch a glimpse of the star.

Over the weekend, hundreds of fans gathered at VOX Cinemas City Centre Deira, where Khan made an entrance. He addressed the crowd and urged them to watch his upcoming film, Dunki. He even mentioned it was his “best film”, promising a rollercoaster of emotions, blending hilarity with heartwarming moments.

Alongside promoting the film at VOX Cinemas, Khan graced the Global Village stage, where he not only interacted with fans but also showcased signature dance moves from his iconic songs.

On 19 December, Khan is set to meet fans at Dubai Mall’s Reel Cinemas. The Burj Khalifa is also expected to illuminate with the movie trailer, creating a cinematic spectacle against the city skyline.

Dunki features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It weaves the tale of four friends from a Punjab village bound by a common dream — to reach England. Promising to be a saga of laughter, border-crossing adventures, unwavering friendships, homesickness, and a love that transcends all boundaries, this film is sure to warm hearts. Plus, parts of it have been shot in Neom, giving you another reason to watch the movie.

Dubai holds a special place in Khan’s heart, and he reciprocates that love as the city’s ambassador, having starred in numerous Visit Dubai campaigns. In fact, the actor owns a residence on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, making his connection with the city even more profound.

Shah Rukh Khan, fondly known as SRK, has been a powerhouse in Bollywood for over three decades. From his debut in 1992 to his recent release, Pathan, he has over 90 films under his belt, including classics like Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Main Hoon Na.

The actor’s illustrious career has earned him numerous Best Actor awards at IIFA and Filmfare. In 2006, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Dubai International Film Festival, solidifying his global appeal. Last year, he was honoured at the Red Sea International Film Festival, further cementing his status as a legendary figure in the world of cinema.

Khan’s upcoming film, Dunki, is in cinemas on 21 December.
