Dubai Bling Interview: Safa Siddiqui

Dubai Bling is a certified Netflix hit, so FACT inevitably caught up with one of the show’s biggest stars. Say hello to Safa Siddiqui.

As Netflix’s new reality TV show Dubai Bling is the talk of the town, we talked directly to its stars. Safa Siddiqui has joined the stellar cast, and chatted to us about money, money, money. 

Born and raised in London, and now living in Dubai, Safa is a housewife and fashionista. Thanks to her passion for fashion, she is aiming to launch her own collection with the support of her enterprising husband Fahad. She has been spotted around town in some eye-catching outfits, from sparkly silver knee-high boots to a J-Lo-inspired jungle dress.

Tell us about yourself. 

I am UK born and raised. I have been in Dubai since 2012. I am a mum and a fashion designer.

Why did you come to Dubai? 

I wanted to make money. Lots of it.

What’s the most bling thing you’ve done in Dubai? 

Make lots of money. I was smart with my money, I invested it a lot and would reinvest, reinvest, reinvest. I also love diamonds. But I don’t buy my own diamonds, my husband does.

What was the best part of filming? 

Dressing up. I love dressing up, so also getting to do the hair and make-up was the most fun.

Why should people watch the show? 

People should watch the show because you might have a misconception about what the show is all about. But when you watch the show, you will see that we are actually deeper people.
