Saudi Arabia is turning up the volume on its music revolution. And with the biggest names from the music world heading to the Kingdom, things are looking great. Now the latest name heading to Riyadh is hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes who’ll be performing as part of MDLBeast Soundstorm 2024.
The exact date of when Busta Rhymes will take the stage has not been announced but with MDLBeast Soundstorm scheduled for 12 to 14 December in Banban, Riyadh fans are gearing up for a ground-thumping night.
For those unversed, Busta Rhymes is a hip-hop legend with a career spanning over three decades. Born Trevor George Smith Jr, he burst into the music scene in the early 1990s with a solo breakthrough in 1996 with Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check which also earned a Grammy nomination. Over the year, he’s delivered several hits including I Know What You Want, Calm Down, Break Ya Neck and many others.
Busta Rhymes earlier performed in Riyadh in October this year for the opening season of Riyadh Season 2024. And his upcoming performance at MDLBeast Soundstorm 2024 promises to be nothing short of iconic either.
MDLBeast Soundstorm is a music festival annually held in Riyadh. Now in its fifth edition, the event has become a permanent fixture of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment calendar. Year after year, it attracts the who’s who of international and regional artists.
This year’s lineup is already a star-studded affair featuring the likes of David Guetta, Eminem, Jason Derulo and Linkin Park — which will also be making its Saudi Arabia debut.
