The hitmaker is headlining the opening of the official FIFA World Cup pop-up.
Dubai, you bring the stars out. The hitmaker Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu – better known as Tinie Tempah – is coming to the city. The British rapper has been announced as the headline act of Pure White, the pop-up club from White Dubai. So if you want to join the fun, you can catch Tinie Tempah in Dubai on 18 November.
Tinie Tempah hails from Plumstead, South London, and has been in the music industry for more than ten years. Fun fact: when he was 12 years old, he was inspired by So Solid Crew’s 21 Seconds, and created his own stage name after flicking through a thesaurus.
Over Tinie Tempah’s career, he has collaborated with Jess Glynne, Labrinth, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding. We are hoping he plays his hit songs, from Pass Out to Written in the Stars. Today, he is one of the UK’s biggest rap artists, as he has won two BRIT Awards and had six UK number one singles.
Tinie Tempah is clearly a fan of the region. He has performed in Dubai before, and returns as part of Pure White’s BudX FIFA Fan Festival. Pure White is part of the Official International FIFA Fan Festival, and has created a cool clubbing space that can hold up to 1,500 people. During the month-long festival, the line-up includes Craig David, Rick Ross, Fat Joe and Rae Sremmurd.
Tine Tempah is also heading to Qatar for MDLBeast Aravia, which is taking place during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The line-up includes Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Hardwell, Rae Sremmurd and Tyga. Running from 21 November to 18 December, tickets are available now.
Tickets for Tinie Tempah in Dubai are available now. Pure White opens on 18 November on Dubai Harbour Marina, and will be open from Thursday to Sunday from 9pm to 4am – or until you pass out.
