The rock legends and award-winning rapper join the stellar line-up.

Abu Dhabi is turning up the volume, as it has announced stellar acts for the F1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts. The all-star line-up includes the rock legends Def Leppard, British rap artist DaveSwedish House Mafia and Kendrick Lamar. Taking place at Etihad Park in Yas Island, it sets to be a showstopper.

We are excited as one of the world’s most famous rock bands, Def Leppard, are making their UAE debut. Def Leppard will be closing the weekend and performing on 20 November. The group have sold more than 110 million albums worldwide, and been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We are hoping that they play some of their rock classics, from Pour Some Sugar on Me to Love Bites

The BRIT Award and Mercury Prize winner Dave is also set to perform on 17 November. After his debut album Psychodrama in 2019, he has received widespread critical acclaim and collaborated with the likes of Drake and AJ Tracey.

Saif Al Noaimi, CEO, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, explains: “With race weekend almost upon us, we are absolutely delighted to announce two more artists that build a fantastic four-day festival of global music superstars that will be entertaining our biggest-ever crowds.

“Perfectly complementing the on-track action, the off-track entertainment has something to offer a range of racegoers and we are sure that the 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will allow visitors from around the world to make some very special memories.

The line-up also sees Grammy-award winning artist Kendrick Lamar perform on 19 November, and Swedish House Mafia perform on 18 November.

Access to the concerts is exclusively for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders. All of the 2022 Grand Prix tickets have sold out, and limited Golden Circle access is still available.
