The hitmakers are bringing their world tour to Dubai on 5 October.

If the songs Superheroes and Hall of Fame get your toes tapping, then you’ll be excited to hear that The Script are coming to the UAE. The Irish rock band have announced a concert at Bla Bla Dubai’s The Tent on 5 October, and it promises to be a more intimate one-off concert.

The Script are currently on a world tour and have squeezed a date into Dubai. The upcoming event will be the group’s first public concert in Dubai. The Script’s previously performed in Dubai – albeit privately – at Atlantis The Palm in November 2021. So, this will be the first time that fans can buy tickets to see them in action.

The Script hail from Dublin, Ireland, and released their debut album The Script in 2008. The group’s next three albums topped the charts in the UK and Ireland, and they’ve created hit singles including Breakeven and The Man who can’t be Moved. Over their career, they have won a World Music Award for Best Selling Irish Act, and been nominated for BRIT Awards and Teen Choice Awards.

The members consist of lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power. Danny is best known for being the frontman and a judge for the talent show, The Voice UK.

Live Nation announced: “We’re delighted to announce @thescriptofficial will perform an up-close and personal show at @blabladubai on 5th October. Get ready for SuperheroesHall of Fame, No Good in Goodbye, The Man Who Can’t be Moved and more.”

There are concerts aplenty coming to the UAE, from Justin Beiber to Kendrick Lamar. Plus, if you’re a fan of Irish musicians, you’re in luck. Westlife are bringing their world tour to the Middle East, and set to perform in Riyadh on 28 September as well as Abu Dhabi on 29 September.

Tickets for The Script in Dubai start from AED 250, and go on sale on 1 September at 12pm on Ticketmaster.
