Cartier offers a classy Christmas experience.
Tis the season to pair your diamonds with coffee. Cartier has opened a Christmas café in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located in the Grand Atrium of Dubai Mall, A Cartier Winter Tale runs from 9 December 2024 to 8 January 2025. The pop-up pays tribute to the flagship store in Paris, and here’s what to expect.
A Cartier Winter Tale in Dubai Mall brings to life the elegance of the brand. he Cartier Café is a chic spot and includes plenty of Insta-worthy moments. The space is easy to spot, drawing inspiration from the festive season, it includes a red and green décor. Look out for the Christmas trees, wrapped presents and sparkling lights. Plus, the area is decorated with post boxes, wreaths and a celebrity-style red carpet.
A Cartier Café originally opened in Dubai Mall in March 2021. Designed by the French architect Laura Gonzalez, it paid homage to the brand’s history. This festive pop-up is a little different, taking over the centre of Dubai Mall Grand Atrium.
For the pretty pop-up, Cartier has collaborated with Ganache Chocolatier. The chocolate brand is famous for its artisanal chocolates, and is offering a mix of treats and drinks in the café. Expect Emirati-inspired treats, which have been created with traditional techniques.
Caroline Dumont-Frotiee, Managing Director at Cartier UAE, explained: “A unique partnership with Emaar on this special occasion brings the perfect blend, where the charm of Paris meets the vibrancy of the UAE.
Cartier was founded in 1847 in Paris, France by Louis-Francois Cartier. Today, Cartier’s collection includes jewellery, leather goods and watches. The customers have included celebrities, politicians and royalty. King Edward VII of England called the company “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers”.
The company was the official supplier to royals, including Elisabeth of Belgium, Tsar Nicholas II, and Queen Marie of Romania. Plus, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a Cartier tiara from 1936 on her wedding day, which was originally commissioned by King George VI for his wife.
