Forget about FOMO – the app includes exclusive collaborations and releases.
Do you know your adidas X Ravi from your adidas X Ivy Park? Well, we have some exciting news for you. The sports brand has launched the new app, adidas Confirmed, in the UAE, which means you never have to miss a drop. So, if you want those three stripe sneakers before everyone else – we’re not judging – here’s what you need to know.
The adidas Confirmed app gives users exclusive access to new releases. The items include cool collaborations with Bad Bunny, BAPE, Gucci and more. Plus, it will share the stories behind the sneakers and a look at the adidas community.
So far, the community stories include British fashion designer Gary Aspden, and the founders of the UK’s first women’s-only sneaker boutique, SHPTLKS. We’ve all heard about giving your home a makeover, but this teaches you how to give your sneakers a makeover.
adidas has been upping its presence in the Middle East, especially across the UAE. In summer 2022, it launched the sell-out collection adidas X Ravi, which was a partnership between the sports brand and much-loved local Pakistani restaurant. Plus, it paired up with a Dubai-based henna artist to create adidas X Dr Azra.
In February 2023, adidas unveiled its new sports campaign, Running Needs Nothing But You. The promotional video includes the Arab world’s most famous footballer, Mohamed Salah. Plus, two of the region’s leading female sportswomen, Egyptian runner Khadija Hegazy and Qatari hurdler Mariam Farid.
In March 2023, Saudi Arabian Football Federation and adidas announced a four-year partnership. As a part of the new partnership, the sportswear brand has created brand-new jerseys. The tops are inspired by the kingdom’s national emblem – the palm tree, no less – and include white, green and golden touches.
The adidas app is available to download now.
