Birkenstock unveils its SS2023 collection – and we’re loving it

The cool collection includes sandals and sneakers.

Birkenstock is famous for its iconic footwear – we’re talking strong, sturdy and stylish sandals. Now, the brand has unveiled its Spring / Summer 2023 collection, and it includes urban-inspired designs.

Birkenstock’s Spring / Summer 2023 collection aims to blur the line between work and play. Taking you from the office to the beach and encouraging you to embrace the spirit of summer. So, slip on your birks and soak up the sun.

The new collection includes the Arizona, Gizeh and Madrid. The seasonal palette draws inspiration from the vibrancy of the summer months. Plus, the designs come with the Big Buckle option, which includes statement straps. 

Birkenstock has reinvented the classic clog with the Boston, Buckley and Naples. Combining modern streetstyle with timeless craftsmanship, the shoes include the brand’s signature footbeds.

Birkenstock’s SS2023 collection has been created using durable, long-lasting materials. Not only does it benefit the wearer, but also the planet. Plus, there are sandals made in vegan materials such as synthetic Birko-Flor, microfiber, and no animal origin materials. 

The #Bold collection also reimagines the classic men’s silhouette. The line adds a fastening technique inspired by vintage workwear. We’re talking larger heavy duty, double prong brass buckles and extra thick straps.

If you thought Birkenstock was just about sandals, think again. The brand has also created the Bend and Kyoto sneakers, which can be dressed up and down.

Birkenstock can trace its roots back to 1774 in Germany. At the heart of the shoe’s design are quality and functionality. Today, the sixth-generation family-run business is a global brand, and is sold in more than 100 countries. Plus, it has been spotted on the feet of celebrities including Katie Holmes, Kendall Jenner and Gwyneth Paltrow.
