Dubbed Park Trail, the latest collaboration between adidas and Beyoncé’s athleisure brand is inspired by the outdoors.
Beyoncé is ‘dangerously in love’ with Dubai – not only did the popstar bring the city into the global spotlight with her performance at the reveal of Atlantis The Royal, but she also chose to reveal her latest collection at Nobu by the Beach, the hotel’s new beach club. Dubbed Park Trail, the latest collaboration between adidas and Beyoncé’s athleisure brand is inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future. It’s also designed to be a rule-breaking, trail-blazing expression of performance wear.
As with the previous adidas x Ivy Park offerings, this latest drop features distinctive looks with inclusive and gender-neutral sizing in fashion styles, performance gear, footwear and accessories. And in a first, the collection has pre-launched exclusively at the adidas Originals flagship store in Dubai Mall.
Park Trail will lead you through the concrete jungle and the mountains in style, courtesy of vibrant looks that function equally as fashion and performance. Reimaging classic outdoor styles, the pieces boast elevated fabrics, powerful iconography, prints, sequins and camouflage. Layering and on-body storage are emphasised throughout the collection, empowering the wearer to feel elegant yet equipped for any trek. The palette, meanwhile, excites with colours that include Sol Ange (solar orange), Mojave (focus orange), Lake-Her (legacy indigo), Denali Green (wild pine), Yosemite (purple), White Sands (cream white), and Pynes (pulse lime) along with a signature Canyon print (camo print).
Elsewhere, the collection’s footwear upgrades well-known Ivy Park classics while adding distinct newness. Taking cues from iconic styles from the adidas archives, it’s locked down by modern textures, exclusive prints, graphic modular accents, and vibrant colourways to ensure you’re ready for the journey ahead. As for the Ivy Park TT2000 basketball shoe? It makes its debut in this collection and is available in two different shades. And on the accessories side are fully convertible backpacks, bags and hats, all of which are beautifully crafted with utilitarian accents, including carabiners and fastenings that channel the great outdoors.
Naturally, a new drop by Beyoncé calls for a campaign with a diverse cast. This time around, familiar faces such as actress Devon Aoki, singer Ice Spice, rapper Offset, NFL star Jordan Fuller, gymnast Nia Dennis, football player Dani Weatherholt, and skateboard star Diego Nájer sport the pieces in a contrasting urban environment that features natural and unnatural elements infused with inspiration from 90s hip-hop culture.
