Dubai to host Michael Kors’ first international runway show

Get ready fashion fans because Michael Kors is about to break all the rules. In an unprecedented move, Michael Kors is taking his Spring 2024 complete runway show to Dubai. Taking place on Tuesday, 12 December, this momentous occasion will mark the first time that the iconic designer will host a complete collection runway show outside of New York City. 

Michael Kors’ exclusive invite-only presentation will be attended by around 250 guests, including top clients, international press, celebrities and influencers, all gathered under the dazzling Dubai skyline. The exact location is being kept as a closely guarded secret and only those invited to the event will be able to attend.

If you cannot snag an invite, there’s no need to panic because the show will be live-streamed globally on Michael Kors’ social and digital channels, ensuring you can tune in and witness the magic firsthand.

Michael Kors himself is bubbling with excitement about this historic event. “I’m looking forward to bringing my collection to Dubai this December,” he gushed. “Since we launched the Michael Kors Collection in the region two years ago, there’s been a lot of interest surrounding the collection, and it feels like the perfect moment to build on that excitement with a fashion show. And what’s on the runway, you ask? The show will feature looks from the Spring 2024 Michael Kors Collection, which made waves in September 2023 when it graced the Domino Park in Brooklyn. But that’s not all – in a nod to Dubai’s fashion-forward clientele, the show will also showcase additional looks designed exclusively for the Europe and MENA region.
