The Horizons Never End campaign showcases designer suitcases.
Legendary footballer Lionel Messi has impressed the world with his sporting skills. Now, he is showing off his fashion skills, as is starring in Louis Vuitton’s latest advert. The Horizons Never End campaign has been photographed by Glen Luchford, and pays homage to the Iconic Horizon collection.
The Horizons Never End campaign captures Messi as he travels the world, and is inspired by infinite freedom. Designer Marc Newson is behind the new collection, which includes stylish suitcases. Across the promotional images, Messi is seen carrying the Horizon suitcase, all of which are emblazoned with the LV print. Plus, in one shot, he has his foot resting on an LV labelled football.
Messi explained: “For me, the horizon is looking to the future, letting my imagination carry me and thinking about what could happen, what the future holds – all its possibilities.”
The appointment comes after Messi led his home team, Argentina, to victory at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He previously worked with Al Nassr footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in a Louis Vuitton campaign. The images were shot by Annie Leibovitz, and captured the two footballers playing chess.
In 2022, Lionel was declared Saudi Arabia’s brand ambassador, and made a visit to Jeddah’s sights and Jeddah Season. On Instagram, he shared images of himself with his friends at the Red Sea. Plus, in 2021, Lionel was featured on promotional posters for Riyadh Season, and Cirque du Soleil created a special show celebrating the footballer for the festival.
The Horizons Never End collection is available now.
