LIKE A BOSS

This Fall/Winter season, BOSS builds on its partnership with boxer Anthony Joshua to launch an exclusive, co-created capsule collection of easy-wear pieces. Introducing BOSS x AJBXNG…

Presented in an elevated shade of midnight with highlights of gold, the BOSS x AJBXNG capsule collection presents ten pieces in a seamless combination of the brand’s signature elegance and Joshua’s desire to include “the colour that represents a win.”

T-shirts, sweatshirts, jersey pants, knits, and a hooded jacket make up the capsule, each featuring a curved interpretation of the iconic BOSS logo in gold, either as a signature detail or in oversized form across the chest or upper back. The T-shirts and sweatshirts are offered in a comfortable, relaxed fit, while the knitwear pieces and jersey pants are cut closer to the body to create a streamlined silhouette.

Every piece includes a woven label featuring motivational words from the boxer: “One more hour, one more day. Never let success get to your head or failure to your heart.”

“The subtlety is what I like about BOSS,” Joshua says in a statement when asked about co-creating his first fashion collection with BOSS. “The navy and the gold, I think it’s a great combination. It’s deep, it’s rich, and the navy gives it an elegant feel.”

While this collaboration marks the first time Joshua has designed a collection with BOSS, the British professional boxer and two-time unified heavyweight champion has a close relationship with the brand, since fronting the Boss Stretch Tailoring campaign in 2018. He also has his own label, AJBXNG.

One thing’s for sure. This collaboration between sportsman and luxury fashion house is the ideal transitional collection.
