The venue is located at a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Shopping and sights combine at the plush LOEWE Perfumes Greenhouse pop-up. The new venue has opened in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Al Ain Oasis. Running from 21 January to 9 February, visitors can try LOEWE’s Botanical Rainbow fragrances and LOEWE Home Scents in a Victorian greenhouse.
The LOEWE Perfumes Greenhouse draws inspiration from apothecaries and botanic gardens. The gardens were traditionally used to cultivate plants, which were used for their medicinal and therapeutic qualities.
At the heart of LOEWE Perfumes Greenhouse are LOEWE Perfumes. The venue is inspired by elements of the natural world, and aims to create a multi-sensory experience through colour, touch and smell. LOEWE Home Scents showcases the raw olfactory properties of a plant. Honeysuckle, ivy, tomato leaves, cucumber, orange blossom and beetroot are joined by the aromatic notes of incense, coriander, cypress balls, oregano, marihuana, mushroom, roasted hazelnut and wasabi.
The Botanical Rainbow comprises nine fragrance families, each inspired by nature. The fragrances also include Un Paseo por Madrid, a family of six unisex fragrances inspired by Madrid. The LOEWE Home Scents collection includes scented candles, room sprays, room diffuser sets, sculptural wax scented candleholders, and soaps.
In 1846, LOEWE was founded in Madrid, Spain. The company was created by the fashion designer, Enrique Loewe. In 1972, it created its first LOEWE fragrance, L de LOEWE. Now, LOEWE Perfumes spans fragrances, home scents and candles. Over the years, it had famous fans including Alfonso XIII, Ava Gardner, Ernest Hemmingway, Marlene Dietrich and Rita Hayworth.
Between its natural springs and palm groves, Al Ain offers endless appeal to those deprived of nature and desperate to escape city life for a few hours – especially with the return of cooler temperatures.
