The footwear brand has been in flux after severing its partnership with rapper Kanye West.

Do you know your Boost from your Foam Runner? If so, you’ll be excited to hear that sportswear brand adidas will release its remaining inventory of YEEZY products on Wednesday, 31 May.

This drop marks the first availability of new YEEZY products to consumers since the termination of the YEEZY partnership with the artist formally known as Kanye West in October 2022. The collection will include both existing designs and designs initiated in 2022.

The release offers a selection of designs that will be available exclusively through the adidas website and the adidas CONFIRMED app. These designs include the highly-anticipated YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Onyx” and Foam Runner “MX Azure” to the sought-after Yeezy 450 “Stone Teal.”

adidas YEEZY

adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said: “After careful consideration, we have decided to begin releasing some of the remaining adidas YEEZY products. Selling and donating was the preferred option among all organisations and stakeholders we spoke to. We believe this is the best solution as it respects the created designs and produced shoes, it works for our people, resolves an inventory problem, and will have a positive impact in our communities. There is no place in sport or society for hate of any kind and we remain committed to fighting against it.”

A portion of all proceeds from the sale of the adidas YEEZY inventory will be donated to organisations actively engaged in combating discrimination and promoting equality, such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.

While the company is considering additional releases of existing inventory, the exact timing is yet to be determined.

The adidas CONFIRMED app gives users exclusive access to new releases, which means you will never miss a drop. The items include cool collaborations with Bad Bunny, BAPE and more. Plus, it will share the stories behind the sneakers and an inside look at the adidas community.

In other adidas news, the sportswear brand recently partnered with Prada to create a collection of luxury football boots that combines high-end sophistication with state-of-the-art technology.
