The limited edition release includes new iterations of the 574 and 57/40 models in classic grey.
For the month of May, global athletic leader New Balance has unveiled the 2021 iteration of its Grey Day Collection. An annual celebration of the brand’s heritage, New Balance is celebrating over a century of independence with the colour that proudly represents its history and has become synonymous with the brand – grey.
The 2021 collection presents new takes on New Balance footwear with two 574 styles and a 57/40 counterpart. The classic grey 574 (AED 399) and an exclusive 574 without the iconic New Balance “N” logo that’s dubbed the 574 Un-N-Ding (AED 449). There’s also a limited edition 57/40 all-grey colourway (AED 549).
First introduced in the 1980s, the 574 was a simple design experiment combining the best of a road and trail runner to create a true go-anywhere shoe. The 574 quickly began to blur the lines between performance and everyday wear and is now known for its versatility, classic design, and core grey colourway.
With a tagline of “Worn by Anyone,” the New Balance 574 is one of the brand’s best-selling silhouettes. This year’s Grey Day campaign from New Balance features several of its star athlete ambassadors, including Coco Gauff, Jamal Murray, Sadio Mane, Sydney McLaughlin, and Tiago Lemos, and regionally with Eduardo, Ascia and Hamad Young Picasso. By showcasing the grey styles on some of its leading athlete partners, New Balance reiterates its heritage and the versatility of the 574 and 57/40.
Customers can find the full Grey Day Collection in Foot Locker Power Doors found in The Dubai Mall.
