Sotheby’s Dubai launches its first jewellery collection – and here’s how to buy it
Lebanese designer Nadine Ghosn makes her Middle East debut with the collaboration.
If it’s good enough for Beyoncé, it’s good enough for us. Brazilian Lebanese jewellery designer Nadine Ghosn has plenty of fans, and has notched up another in the form of Sotheby’s Dubai. The auction house is launching its first jewellery series, and has selected the designer as part of the collaboration. The event takes place on 13 March, and here’s how you can get your hands, wrists, necks and so forth on the collection.
Nadine is exhibiting in the Middle East for the first time, and unveiling her new collection, Youtensils. The delicate playful pieces include bracelets shaped like forks and spoons. The collection is available to buy online and in-person at Sotheby’s Dubai.
Nadine has a truly international background, as she was born in America and is based in the United Kingdom. She spent her life living between Hong Kong, Paris, New York and Tokyo. After studying Art and Economics at Stanford University, she worked in BCG’s Luxury Practise Group.
In 2016, she turned her love of jewellery into a business, and launched her own brand, Nadine Ghosn Fine Jewellery. Over her career, her fans range from Alicia Keys to Ariane Grande. Plus, she has created statement pieces from a hamburger-shaped ring, complete with crystal encrusted buns, to a paperclip-inspired bracelet and earrings.
She explains: “I never really fit into one given mould, and still don’t. By always being an odd ball out, I was able to internalise a mindset that is core to Nadine Ghosn Fine Jewellery: don’t think outside the box. Think like there is no box. My goal is to make ordinary products extraordinary.”
We’re dazzled.
