The dazzling line celebrates the UAE’s first spacewalk.
The Giving Movement’s Metallic Collection is out of the world. The region’s first sustainable athleisure brand’s new collection pays homage to the UAE’s space mission. We’re talking shell suits that celebrate Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
The Giving Movement loves to pay tribute to the country and the region. The latest collection draws inspiration from Sultan Al Neyadi’s first spacewalk. The themes cover ambition, potential, and achievement.
The Giving Movement’s Metallic Collection covers Active, Lounge and Shell, and they are emblazoned with a funky space-age inspired logo. The items include hoodies and joggers in full metallic, which are made from organic cotton and recycled polyester.
The Giving Movement’s Metallic Collection also includes leggings, shorts and tops, which are made from recycled polyester and recycled spandex. Plus, these feature seven dark hues with standout stitching.
The Shell collection looks like a cross between Run DMC’s uniform and 1980s exercise videos. The line introduces reflective strips into the collection, and silver panels to the sweatpants and hooded jacket. The highlight is the fully reflective, colour block Shell sweatpants and jacket, which features muted panels.
The Giving Movement was founded by Dominic Nowell-Barnes. After moving to the UAE in 2017, he was motivated to use fashion as a vehicle of positive change and launched the e-commerce brand in 2020. The company aims to alter the way fashion is consumed while shedding light on conscious consumerism.
If you’re a shopaholic, you don’t have to feel guilty when buying items. With every item you purchase, AED 15 is donated to the charities Dubai Cares and Harmony House. To date, the company have donated more than $2.4 million.
To infinity and beyond.
