OFFSIDE OKTOBERFEST

Ten days of Bavarian celebration begin this weekend at Offside Sports Lounge.

It’s that time of year where we don our Lederhosen, sip on our favourite hops and indulge in Bavarian delicacies in celebration of Oktoberfest.

While things may have changed somewhat from the original Oktoberfest which celebrated the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria back in 1810, the festivities remain strong over 200 years later!

Offside Sports Lounge situated at the luxurious Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island are pulling out all of the stops this year to ensure that Oktoberfest 2020 is one to remember! For ten days from September 17 to 26, head down to the popular sports bar from 5pm each day to enjoy German food and your favourite beverages.

The world’s largest folk festival may be celebrated slightly differently this year. Still, Offside are have you covered with a menu of Oktoberfest classics, including giant pretzels (AED 60), smoked salmon rösti (AED 85), Bavarian-style braised beef with traditional bread dumplings and red cabbage (AED 95), and Munich Style Apfelstrudel (AED 40). For something awe-inspiring, don’t miss the meter-long veal Bratwurst (AED 175), served with crushed potatoes and crispy shallot BBQ sauce.

During the ten days of festivities, Offside will also be running a Bavarian Brew special, with 1 litre of brew starting from AED 70, plus, you’ll receive 1 litre free with every 3 litres purchased!
