Floating Venice: The World Islands welcomes an underwater hotel
Located on The Heart of Europe, the Venice-inspired resort includes an underwater gym, spa and restaurant.
You’ll soon be able to visit Venice without having to set foot on a plane. The World Islands in Dubai has announced that it is opening a Venice-themed underwater hotel. Floating Venice will be located on The Heart of Europe, and will include traditional gondolas, marine life and underwater villas with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Floating Venice is inspired by Venice, Italy, and aims to be the world’s first luxury underwater vessel resort. The five-star resort will include 180 underwater suites, 24 swimming pools and 10 floating sandy beaches, and a floating yacht club as well as pier walkways. Plus, there will be an underwater gym, spa and restaurant, and the chance to experience coral reefs and marine life.
Guests can arrive at Floating Venice in style, as it will be accessible by boat and helicopter. Plus, there will be gondolas imported directly from Venice, which serve as the main form of transportation on the resort.
The Heart of Europe is a 20-minute boat ride from Jumeirah Fishing Habour. The Heart of Europe contains the kind of residences that make MTV Cribs look like an episode of Eastenders. There are impressive projects across The Heart of Europe, such as the heart-shaped Honeymoon Island and the Portofino Hotel resort.
The Kleindienst Group is one of the largest European real estate companies in Dubai, and they are behind The Heart of Europe. The project also includes Côte d’Azur, which is inspired by the French Riviera and comprises four hotels: Monaco, Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez. You’ll always have Europe.
