Hilton’s luxury brand LXR Hotels & Resorts will open its first property in the capital. The all-villa resort on Al Nawras Island will feature 80 beach and water villas and a two-bedroom Royal Villa. With a strong emphasis on leisure and well-being, the resort will offer a fully equipped gym, a fitness studio, three swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, a beach club and a tranquil spa. Having already seen success in Saudi Arabia’s AlUla, Cloud7 will bring its luxury camping to Ras Al Khaimah. Nestled on 38,000 sqm of land opposite the Khor Fakkan Port, Khorfakkan Hotel is set to be a destination of luxury and leisure. The hotel will feature 75 deluxe units and offer a range of upscale amenities, including the first waterpark on the UAE’s East Coast, a yacht club, opulent residences, and various retail options, including restaurants, a spa and a state-of-the-art gym.

Liwa Hotel, Autograph Collection
Nestled in the heart of Liwa Oasis in the Rub al Khali desert Liwa Hotel in Abu Dhabi will open under the portfolio of the Autograph Collection Hotels. The property will offer 66 rooms and suites – including three expansive three-bedroom villas – in addition to three restaurants, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a spa and a kids club.

LUX Al Bridi Resort
Located within the 784-hectare Sharjah Safari project, LUX Al Bridi Resort forms part of the world’s largest wildlife safari outside of Africa. Accommodations feature one, two and three-bedroom units decorated in a sandstone-hued palette and earthy tones. The tented structures resemble sand dunes from a distance, seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscape. Mama Shelter Dubai will shake up Dubai’s Business Bay, as millennials and Gen Z will feel right at home in the hotel housed in a new Franklin Azzi Architecture-designed building. Mama Shelter is famous for creating an informal atmosphere, which is why you’ll find room sizes categorised as S, M, L and going all the way up to XXL. Ciel Vignette Collection
Located in Dubai Marina, Ciel is scheduled to open in 2025 and will be the world’s tallest hotel. The First Group is behind the project, home to 1,000 rooms including 150 suites. The restaurants include an all-day dining venue on the 13th floor, Sunset Lounge on the 74th floor, and a spa and health club on the 54th floor. Making the most of its height, Ciel in Dubai includes an observation deck with panoramic views, which include the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. Plus, there will be a bar on the 76th floor and the world’s highest infinity pool on the 81st floor.

Earth Mangroves Abu Dhabi
Set within Abu Dhabi’s lush mangroves, Earth Mangroves will feature 41 free-standing bungalows, winding their way across the landscape and floating on the waterfront. The interiors are modern, minimal, and infused with earthy tones. The resort will offer a range of activities to indulge in, from kayaking to paddle boarding, yoga and meditation. Gran Melia Dubai
With a stunning coast that perfectly encapsulates Dubai’s charm and its own private beach, Gran Melia Dubai is set to be a hospitality hotspot. Offering a unique and unforgettable experience to its guests, the beach resort located in La Mer will boast 260 keys. While the fine details of this under-construction marvel are still kept under wraps, the rendered images of Gran Melia Dubai reveal luxurious living, glass-walled swimming pools and more. The hotel will feature elegant white exteriors adorned with gold and intricate stonework, accented by lush touches of greenery. Of course, no luxury hotel in Dubai is complete without a culinary experience to remember. While the specifics of Gran Melia Dubao’s dining options have yet to be unveiled, we do know that the resort will be home to Zuma Dubai Beachhouse.

Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower
The 302-metre twisting tower on Sheikh Zayed Road will consist of 229 residential units and 258 hotel rooms as part of Dubai’s second Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The hotel will occupy floors 16 to 38 of the 64-storey tower and is expected to feature a rooftop sky bar, poolside restaurant, lobby lounge and a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. There’s even a helipad.

Marriott Mirfa Resort
Marriott Hotels and Resorts is set to make its mark in Abu Dhabi with the opening of the Marriott Mirfa Resort, Abu Dhabi. Located along the picturesque coast of the Al Dhafra region, this beachfront resort will feature 114 rooms, three dining outlets, and over 600 sqm of meetings and event space. The brand’s signature M Club lounge, known for its exclusive amenities and services, will also be a highlight of the resort.

Mondrian Abu Dhabi
The first Mondrian hotel in the United Arab Emirates will be located in Downtown Abu Dhabi. Mondrian Abu Dhabi spans 221 rooms and 80 serviced apartments. Visitors will have six food and beverage venues to choose from, which include a crystal-clear lagoon in the sun. The Insta credentials are real, as it includes ocean views and an infinity pool. Plus, lounges and daybeds will surround the water’s edge. The UAE’s first casino will be located on the manmade Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah and is scheduled to open in 2026, marking the Las Vegas-based hotel and casino operator’s first foray into the region. The planned destination will feature a luxury hotel with over 1,000 rooms, world-class shopping, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, a spa, more than ten restaurants and lounges, extensive entertainment choices and a gaming area, amongst other amenities.

Bellagio Hotel Dubai
Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Jumeirah Beach, which is known for being one of the longest stretches of developed beachfront in Dubai, Bellagio Hotel Dubai is part of a sprawling 26-acre development project known as The Island. Once complete, the hotel will boast a modern and futuristic design across a staggering 1,000 rooms and 10 exquisite villas. The facilities within and around the hotel are equally impressive, including a massive 500,000-square-foot theatre, museums showcasing art and culture, an array of world-class restaurants, and much more. We’re also hoping for an iteration of the Bellagio Fountain found at the Las Vegas property.

MGM Hotel Dubai
Another Las Vegas favourite is opening in Dubai. MGM Hotel Dubai will be located on The Island off the coast of Umm Suqeim alongside the Bellagio Hotel Dubai. Drawing inspiration from its Vegas counterpart, MGM Hotel Dubai is set to host regular shows and will also feature a beach club and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The hotel will also be a haven for shoppers and foodies, with a plethora of restaurants and retail options.

The Alba – Dorchester Collection
The Alba Hotel and Residences will be located on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. This beachfront destination will blend modern design, natural beauty, and ultra-luxurious accommodations and amenities, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. The property has been designed by the world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects and will feature 95 keys with interiors by Gilles et Boissier. In terms of amenities, you’ll find everything from fine dining restaurants and swimming pools to a wellness spa that promises to be a serene escape.

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Abu Dhabi
Located on Ramhan Island, The Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Abu Dhabi will be the first of its kind in the UAE, setting new standards for luxury experiences. This property promises an escape from the ordinary, offering breathtaking views of the pristine, turquoise waters of the capital. The Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Abu Dhabi, which is yet to get a name, will feature 50 units. Scheduled to open in 2029, the property will consist of one, two, three and four-bedroom villas. Some of these will be floating water villas — similar to those found in Maldives and the recently opened Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Saudi Arabia. Dining destination and other amenities will also be a part of the hotel, details of which will be announced in due time.
