The Crown Prince named his newborn daughter after his mother.
Congratulations are in order for Dubai’s beloved Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his family, as Sheikh Hamdan announced the arrival of his newborn daughter, Hind bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Hamdan took to his Instagram account, @faz3, to share the joyous news with his 16.9 million followers. In classic Fazza style, the announcement was simple yet heartfelt. Posting on his Instagram stories, he shared an image expressing gratitude to God, followed by the official reveal of his daughter’s name written in both Arabic and English: Hind bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
Born on 22 March, 2025, baby Hind’s name holds a special significance. It’s also the same as Sheikh Hamdan’s mother, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, making it an extra meaningful choice for the family.
For those looking for a recap, Sheikh Hamdan and his wife, Sheikha Shaikha bint Saeed tied the knot in May 2019. They are already proud parents to twins Rashid and Shaikha, born in May 2021, and a younger son, Mohammed, born in February 2023. Now, with little Hind, the Crown Prince is a father to four beautiful children.
