Azizi Venice will open a floating opera house in Dubai
The 1,500-seat venue will host world-class shows.
Dubai, are you sitting comfortably? Well, you will be at the new entertainment venue, Azizi Venice’s floating opera house in Dubai South. What makes this stand out from other entertainment venues in the UAE is that it will have a floating stage. So, if you’re after a night out with a difference, here’s what you need to know.
Azizi Venice’s Opera House will be home to arts, culture and entertainment. The venue will include 1,500 seats and a floating stage atop the Crystal Lagoon. Visitors can admire performers and, in true Dubai-style, a fountain that moves in time to music. Plus, it will welcome performers from around the world across different disciplines.
Azizi Venice’s floating opera house can also be used for private events, from business functions to wedding ceremonies. Plus, there will be a chance for visitors to learn about how the venue, and visit the Opera House Museum.
Azizi Venice aims to be a dazzling destination. The development plans to be completed by 2028, and will include a range of facilities. The site will include 109 villas, more than 34,000 apartments, 148,000 square metres of retail space, 18,000 kilometres of lagoons, beach and boardwalks. Plus, it will include cafés and restaurants.
Other live music venues in the UAE include Coca-Cola Arena Dubai, Dubai Opera House, Etihad Arena and Expo City Dubai. Upcoming concerts in the country include Green Day on 27 January 2025, Jason Derulo on 15 June and Take That on 25 October.
