These stadiums symbolise Dubai’s commitment to excellence and inclusivity in sports.
Sports have always held a special place in the UAE; among the various sports, football stands out as a favourite in the region. Taking its love for the game to new heights, Duibai will construct two new stadiums, aligning with the UAE’s vision for sports excellence.
Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has given the green light to architectural designs for these two monumental projects.
First up is Shabab Al Ahli, a Dubai Club stadium at Al Ruwayyah 3. This will boast an avant-garde design with a circular roof. Its eco-friendly features and integration with smart city requirements will underscore Dubai’s commitment to sustainable development.
Next up is Al Wasl Club stadium at Al Jaddaf. It will embrace the ‘city within a city’ concept, seamlessly integrating open spaces into its design, reflecting Dubai’s urban identity while also adhering to sustainability principles and smart city requirements.
Both of these stadiums will serve as symbols of progress, community, and Dubai’s passion for football. They will also emphasise the government’s commitment to fostering participation in sporting activities while also upgrading infrastructure to host major events. However, the completion date for these projects has not yet been announced.

By enhancing facilities and nurturing local talent, Dubai aims to solidify its position as a leading global sports hub. It’s already home to several football stadiums such as the Al Maktoum Stadium, Rashid Stadium, The Sevens Stadium, and Zabeel Stadium. With these two new additions, Dubai’s football landscape is set to soar to greater heights.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store.
