The 10,000-square-metre beach features a crystal lagoon.

For the people who say that the UAE lacks nature, we present to you Hatta. The mountainous natural beauty has always been great for an adventurous day or stay, and it is about to get more thrilling, thanks to the Hatta Beach project.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council has approved new projects. On a visit to Hatta, he confirmed the construction of a school, neighbourhood council, and site for Hatta Beach.

Hatta Beach will span 53,000 square metres. The beach itself will stretch over 10,000 square metres and will be located next to an artificial lake. Plus, there will be a range of amenities and services for visitors.

During Sheikh Hamdan’s visit, he reviewed the Hatta Master Development Plan, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. The project aims not only to improve living standards but also to put Hatta on the map for business, investment, and tourism. The upcoming projects also include hotels, resorts and the development of Hatta downtown. Plus, Hatta Souq will cover 146,000 square metres and include 70 commercial units as well as other amenities.
