Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed recently visited Japan, and his trip has left his Instagram followers and travel enthusiasts with a serious case of wanderlust. Sheikh Hamdan, also known as Fazza, is renowned for his love of adventure and travel, and his latest trip to Japan showcases his passion for exploration and discovery.

During his visit to Tokyo, Sheikh Hamdan immersed himself in the vibrant Japanese culture, from trying delicious sushi and coffee tasting with World Brewers Cup Champion Tetsu Kasuya to posing with a geisha and walking the busy roads of the capital. He shared his love for Japan with his 15 million Instagram followers, posting pictures of his travel companions, Abdulla Al Naboodah and Maj, son of his close friend Ahmad Jaber Al Harbi.

Fazza’s trip comes shortly after Japan introduced eVisas for UAE and Saudi residents, making it easier for tourists from both countries to explore Japanese culture. Visitors can now apply online for a short-term tourist visa that allows stays of up to 90 days, giving them ample time to explore Tokyo’s neon-lit streets, Kyoto’s temples and shrines, or the snow-covered slopes of Hokkaido.

Fazza is no stranger to travel, having visited a series of countries over the years, including Tanzania, South Korea, Estonia, Denmark, and more. He is known for his love of adventure, and his travels exude his passion for discovering new cultures and experiences. In January 2023, he visited the French Alps town of Courchevel, part of the Three Valleys, the biggest connected ski area in the world, where he was seen skiing and relaxing at the resort.
