Enjoy sundowners and sharing platters at Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s bar.

We love a sundowner spot at FACT, so we are thrilled to add Above Eleven in Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai to our list. The new rooftop bar and restaurant is set to open on Palm Jumeirah and has picture-perfect views of the Arabian Gulf.

Above Eleven originated in Bangkok and is now coming to Dubai. While it has not yet opened, we do know that guests can enjoy crafted cocktails and an outdoor terrace. Plus, what sets this apart from your average rooftop bar is that there is a garden maze.

Above Eleven

Fans of Japanese Peruvian food will love Above Eleven. If the Bangkok menu is anything to go by, we expect the Dubai menu to be an exciting sharing concept. Think platters aplenty – Peruvian platters, sushi platters and a tuna nikkei platter, which has fish dishes ranging from a tuna sashi to tuna ponzu tiradito. Plus, we are expecting sushi, nigiri and sashimi rolls, and a dedicated plant-based menu.

So far, we know that Above Eleven in Dubai has a chic jungle vibe, thanks to its towering indoor trees, exposed brickwork with tribal motifs and colourful cushions. Plus, the dark wooden tables and dim lighting give it a sophisticated edge.

When Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai is completed, Above Eleven is just one of the many new bars and restaurants located in the hotel. Other eateries include Coco Fizz, a Miami-inspired restaurant and bar, which serves snacks and cocktails; and Cucina, an Italian trattoria with a deli counter, coffee shop, gelato bar and wood-fired pizza oven.

We’ll raise our sundowner to that.
