Musical maestro Guy Manoukian’s dinner and a show is ready to wow Dubai audiences.
The Theater Dubai, an immersive visual spectacle with world-class entertainment has opened at Fairmont Dubai. Directed by the Middle East’s very own showman, Lebanese-Armenian musician, composer and pianist, Guy Manoukian, The Theater Dubai promises a show-stopping experience with a lineup of dynamic and live performances.
Each show at The Theater is performed by a lineup of artists from across the globe, including vocalists and aerial dancers from Las Vegas. Guests are taken on a musical adventure accompanied by performers, with a stage stretching into the audience.
“Whilst the whole world was in lockdown, we were looking for the underdogs and the hidden gems in the world of art and theatre. They’re now starving for a performance, so when they’re back on stage, it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before,” explains Manoukian, Artistic Director and creative mind behind The Theater.
Each show at The Theater is a unique experience following a different theatrical theme. The evening commences with a laidback jazz performance as guests walk into an Alice in Wonderland setting. The tempo picks up as the night progresses, with a live DJ performance following each impressive act.
One of the opening acts named Savage is inspired by a vicious hunt in the wild, starring an incredible, platinum-haired aerialist from Las Vegas playing the role of a jaguar. Some of the shows that follow will be an ode to modern entertainment, reimagining some of the most iconic scenes on the silver screen.
Besides a phenomenal lineup throughout the week, every Wednesday will be dedicated to ‘Guy and Friends’ – a special performance by the man behind it all, Guy Manoukian and his ensemble.
Complemented by exquisite interiors, guests can expect a bold and unique dining concept featuring an international menu. Begin the evening with a fine selection of Beluga and Oscietra Caviar, along with a selection of Chef’s special handmade Beef Gyoza served with smoked onion purée. Seafood fans can indulge in the Lobster Linguini, while the meat lovers can enjoy the signature slow-cooked Wagyu Tomahawk with shaved truffle. Guests are invited to explore the multiple bars across the venue, including a retro-style speakeasy.
Having been a key player in the music industry both locally and internationally for over two decades, Manoukian and The Theatre Dubai looks set to raise the bar not just in Dubai but across the Middle East.
