Club Med is making its way to the Middle East. Club Med Musandam will be coming to Musandam, Oman. Set to open in 2028, the all-inclusive hotel will be located in the exclave, which is next to the UAE.
Club Med Musandam is a collaboration between Club Med, Royal Court Affairs, and Omran Group. The hotel will draw inspiration from its surroundings, from the climate to the cuisine. Spanning 300 rooms, it aims to offer a premium experience. Visitors will be able to enjoy archery, beach tennis, kayaking, paddle tennis, sailing, scuba diving, snorkelling, and tennis. Plus, there will be a fitness centre, spa, and daily classes.
Henri Giscard d’Estaing, President of Club Med explained: “The history and success of Club Med lies on its pioneer approach, strongly contributing to the development of regions and areas where it has been implementing. The project of Club Med Musandam is a key milestone as it is our first presence in the Middle East.”
H.E. Mr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, added: “This collaboration with Club Med is an important step that is in line with the objective of Omran vision 2040 aiming at bringing 11 million tourists in Oman to boost the inflow of international tourists to the Sultanate.”
Club Med has been operating since the 1950s, and offers holiday experiences around the world. Today, Club Med Exclusive Collection currently consists of 20 properties including five Exclusive Collection Resorts, 10 Exclusive Collection Spaces, four Villas and Chalets, and a Sailing Yacht.
