The Sultanate’s first Nobu-branded hotel and residences are under development.
If there’s one getaway spot that UAE residents just can’t get enough of, it’s Oman. With its rugged mountains and calm beaches, it offers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. And now there’s going to be yet another reason to visit the Sultanate because the luxurious Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Muscat is officially on its way.
Located on the shores of Yiti Beach, the upcoming Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Muscat is bringing a whole new level of chic to Oman. Spread across 60,000 square meters, it’s situated less than 30km from the capital, Muscat, promising a scenic drive.
Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Muscat will feature 80 rooms within its vicinity. Expect these to come with all the signature Nobu flair, such as sleek interiors, calming colour palettes and details that blend Japanese influences with local charm.
You will also get to dine the Nobu way, as various concepts will form part of the agenda at the hotel. Much like Atlantis The Royal, this property will also be home to a Nobu Beach Club, which is set to be one of the main highlights of the hotel. With loungers and cocktails, and the beautiful backdrop of Oman’s natural landscape, this venue is poised to be a must-visit destination.
Beyond accommodation and dining, you can expect a state-of-the-art fitness centre, spa, and swimming pools to be part of the floor plan. The project also includes a limited number of branded Nobu Residences, featuring beachside homes.
Nobu was created by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro, and its first branch opened in New York in 1994. Nobu Dubai arrived back in 2008, and the brand has gained a worldwide reputation for culinary excellence.

Nobu Hotel Muscat is going to be one of the many Nobu properties opening in the Middle East. Currently, there are plans for Nobu Hotel to open in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island. In Saudi Arabia, it will open doors in the coastal city of Al Khobar. Each offering its own regional twist while staying true to that signature Nobu elegance.
Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Muscat is currently in development. The exact opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but once it opens its doors, it’s bound to become one of the most coveted coastal destinations in the region.
