Learn how to create Emirati delicacies this Holy Month.
Abu Dhabi is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines, which means it only makes sense to have a culinary institute in the capital. One name that stands tall is Ecole Ducasse, which embodies the vision of its founder, the renowned chef Alain Ducasse.
Established in 1999 in France, École Ducasse is dedicated to transmitting outstanding French expertise in culinary and pastry arts. It operates globally, including in France, the Philippines, India, Thailand, and the UAE capital. Each campus aims to impart the art of gastronomy with a blend of French expertise and local culinary traditions.
In the spirit of inclusivity and culinary exploration, École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio – located in the Cultural Foundation – has launched a special Ramadan workshop, inviting you to immerse yourself in the traditions of the Holy Month. From exquisite Emirati delicacies to French-inspired dishes and vegetarian delights, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to experience the richness of Ramadan cuisine. Available throughout Ramadan, from 3pm to 7pm, prices start from AED 590 per person for a set menu experience, AED 790 for two, AED 1,350 for four and AED 3,900 for a group 10 who will also receive complimentary free flow of Ramadan beverages.
For those keen to delve deeper into Emirati culinary heritage, École Ducasse’s special night class focuses on the basics of Emirati pastries. Led by expert instructors, this hands-on class is perfect for both beginners and seasoned culinary enthusiasts looking to expand their repertoire and discover the flavours of Ramadan. These take place every day throughout Ramadan, from 9pm to 11pm and are priced at AED 425 per person, or AED 590 for two along with Ramadan beverages.
