Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is fast becoming the go-to spot for all things arts and culture in the city. The boutique hotel offers an experience akin to exploring an art gallery, with digital installations, pop-up exhibitions and a curated art collection across 19 floors of the thoughtfully designed property.

From the moment you arrive at the valet with its ceiling of Arabic tea trays to the elaborate wallpaper that marks the entrance to the all-day-dining restaurant, Open Sesame, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown engulfs visitors in the Arabian heritage of the location, instilling them with a feeling of artistic prowess.

Arsty Iftar Dubai

Continuing to connect with artists and the local community while championing Dubai’s burgeoning art scene, the hotel offers an Artsy Dubai Iftar every Friday night throughout Ramadan. Beginning on Friday, 23 April, those dining at Open Sesame will experience a live painting show by talented Iraqi artist Qais Salman Abood Al Kabir.

The immersive experience invites guest to watch Qais showcase his masterful strokes and oriental touches upon a velvet canvas during a live painting performance. Whilst enjoying a selection of hot and cold mezze, specially curated menus, and refreshing Ramadan juices. The artworks created during each Artsy Iftar will be available for guests to purchase for AED 224 as a memorable souvenir.

Arsty Iftar Dubai

Representing the city’s modern creative pulse, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is ideal for art lovers and foodies to enjoy an interactive and unique dining experience this Ramadan. Offering the contemporary touch of an authentic Arabic souk, Open Sesame’s Artsy Dubai Iftar will be available every Friday evening throughout the Holy Month, from sunset to 8:30pm. AED 165 per person.
