Embrace the spirit of Ramadan at this landmark Abu Dhabi address

Ramadan at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi involves first-class restaurants, the city’s only revolving lounge and a new take on Layali El Hilmiya.

The five-star Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi has often been celebrated as one of the best places to experience Ramadan in the UAE capital. Things this year are looking a little different but are no less grand with an authentic offering to bring families and friends together during the Holy Month. 

While the cities renowned Layali El Hilmiya tent will not be making an appearance this year, the concept is coming back in full force with a pop-up experience taking over the restaurants on the hotel’s ground floor. Spread across Café Palmier, District by Amalfi and the properties expansive outdoor spaces, the Layali El Hilmiya pop-up will play host to your favourite regional Ramadan dishes. 

Gather responsibly as the sun sets to enjoy a royal Iftar experience and feast on a delicious selection of Middle Eastern cuisine with an urban oasis created especially for the occasion. The authentic taste of Arabia is available from sunset daily. AED 195 (inclusive of Ramadan juices and soft drinks), AED 240 (inclusive of Ramadan juices, mocktails, soft drinks, tea and coffee) and AED 99 (children aged six to twelve years).

Iftar will also be available at Market Kitchen, a restaurant known for its sophisticated dining room that beautifully combines the traditional farmhouse kitchen with distinct modern touches. With its farm to table concept, the venue will offer an Arabian flavoured sharing menu for guests to enjoy this Ramadan. Available daily from sunset to 11pm. AED 250 per person.

Layali El Hilmiya Le Royal Meridien

Stratos opens its doors for the very first time during Ramadan with an Iftar to remember! With a reputation to match its stratospheric name, reach for new heights and marvel at the evolving view as day turns to night at Abu Dhabi’s only revolving lounge. Marvel at the 360-degree views over Abu Dhabi during each 90-minute revolution while enjoying a sky-high Iftar experience with traditional dishes from the Josper grill. Available daily from sunset to 11pm. AED 275 per person.

Layali El Hilmiya Ramadan

With various flavours and experiences on offer at the landmark corniche address, enjoy a remarkable Sohour amidst a re-defined and atmospheric inner-city setting. Sohour features sharing mezze plates for AED 50 and set menus for AED 75 and AED 100 per person, alongside a full a la carte menu and shisha service. Sohour is available from 9pm daily.

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi has garnered a strong reputation for quality food and beverages and has been held in high regard for its annual Ramadan offering. This year looks to be no different.
