Fashion and food unite. The renowned make-up brand MAC Cosmetics and Emirati-owned restaurant Saddle House have collaborated on a new pop-up. The event runs from 16 March to 7 April, and showcases MAC’s latest collection, Teddy Forever.
MAC Cosmetics X Saddle House will host a variety of events, which include photo opportunities with the four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can visit the calligrapher for one-of-a-kind tote bags and learn from experts in make-up masterclasses.
MAC Cosmetics X Saddle House showcases the limited-edition collection, which is influenced by the Velvet Teddy shade. The new collection spans eye and face palettes, liners and more. The items include a Prep and Prime Lip with hydrating, Retro Matte Lipstick with neutral shades, and Teddy Takeover Eye and Face Palette with new shades.
Located in Marsa Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi, Saddle House is a homegrown concept. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves Mediterranean meets international dishes. The breakfast menu includes croissants, bowls, buns, toasts and mains. The lunch and dinner menu includes starters, sharing dishes, burgers, pastas, pizzas and risotto. Plus, the mains include Chicken Schnitzel, Classic Ribeye Steak and Mediterranean Grilled Seabass. Look out for the eye-catching art piece created by Emirati artist, Mattar Bin Lahej.
MAC Cosmetics was founded in 1984. The products were first sold to make-up professionals and expanded to a wider market in the 1990s. In 1994, Estee Lauder Companies acquired 51 percent of the brand. In Abu Dhabi, MAC Cosmetics stores can be found at Al Wahdha Mall, Dalma Mall, and The Galleria Al Maryah Island.
