The caviar bar has taken up residence on the 71st floor of SLS Dubai.
Luxury knows no bounds when it comes to dining experiences in Dubai, but admittedly, we were lacking an intimate setting rooted in the finest caviar and champagne out there – until now. Following its success in Doha, 12 Chairs Caviar Bar has now launched in the UAE, taking up residence at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences.
This one-of-a-kind dining concept promises to satiate even the most discerning palates, while accommodating only 12 guests at a time for abject exclusivity. Tempting the senses with mouthfuls of exquisite tastes, textures and effervescence, 12 Chairs immerses guests into an opulent environment, complete with stunning views of Dubai’s iconic skyline. A striking marble bar sets the tone for the interiors, which feature gold and pink accents, creating a stylish and modern space perfectly suited to this offering.
“At 12 Chairs, we offer an intimate and luxurious experience, raising the bar on fine dining through extraordinary dishes and world-class quality products,” says Cláudio Cardoso, SLS Culinary Director. “All of our creations are prepared right in front of the guests, who are invited to explore our complex gastronomy experience, while being introduced to the culture of caviar and sophisticated drinks. Inspired by the Japanese omakase tradition, 12 Chairs’ bespoke concept, combining exclusive ingredients as well as the chef’s creativity, will no doubt open conversation with guests and take Dubai’s dining scene to new levels.”
With the menu featuring options that span bites, cones and a variety of mouth-watering caviar specialties, diners can expect to sample the freshest caviar. Choices range from the Baerii (a soft and creamy texture with sweet, nutty and savoury notes) and Oscietra (golden-brown pearls with almond and floral notes) to Kaluga Reserve (elegant and indulgent with a multiplex of umami) – each selected by a caviar master.
The omakase menu, meanwhile, stands out with choices such as the strawberry cornetto with tuna, citrus and avocado, topped with Siberian caviar. Guests can also choose foie gras with classic Baerii, served with macadamia and gold, as well as sorbet with peach perfectly paired with Oscietra caviar. Sip on a bespoke cocktail or order a glass of fizz, and you’re set for an evening that you won’t soon forget.
