Take a culinary journey around the world at The Orangery
The new restaurant at Montgomerie Golf Club Academy opens tomorrow.
Forefront Group, the hospitality brand behind such concepts as Mr. Miyagi’s, The Scene by Simon Rimmer, Casa de Cuba and El Chapos Taco’s, will open a new venue at Dubai’s Montgomerie Golf Club Academy.
The Orangery, a creative venture taking inspiration from Jules Verne’s 1872 novel Around The World In 80 Days, opens to the public on Thursday, 6 May.
The interiors feature a rich palette of green and copper hues alongside quirky decor featuring suitcases and chandeliers that lean into the travel theme. The expansive venue also features a lovely alfresco terrace set against the backdrop of the Montgomery driving range and the Dubai skyline.
The varied menu includes popular choices such as fish and chips, burrata, oysters and beef tartar. The Orangery will also serve a selection of pizzas with unique flavour combinations such as smoked salmon with beluga caviar.
Signature dishes come in small or large servings, making them ideal for sharing. The likes of Madras BBQ tiger prawns, Egyptian inspired lamb chops, miso-glazed eggplant, and mushroom and cashew ricotta ravioli, are bound to be crowdpleasers.
A sprawling bar will also be whipping up a selection of inventive mixed beverages, taking guests from New York to London, India and Japan via the choice of infused flavours.
The Orangery looks set to offer guests a sensory getaway after a year of limited chances to experience new cuisines abroad.
