A fiery theme night has launched at Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan

Adding culinary excitement to their extensive buffet offering, the new Taste of India theme night at Pepper Restaurant brings the bold flavours of authentic Indian cuisine to the heart of the capital on Thursday evenings.

Featuring vibrant spices, aromatic flavours and an array of specialist ingredients, experience India’s rich culinary history with an all-you-can-eat buffet to kick start the weekend in style. Stylishly laid out across gleaming white countertops, accentuating the colours of the eye-catching dishes on display, the buffet features over 60 tasty dishes.

Taste buds will be tingling with an array of hot starters and soups like hara bhara kebab, shami kebab, popular snack dahi ke kebab and vegetable Punjabi samosa with chutney.

Cold starters and salads feature street food staples, such as papari chat made with wheat dough crisps, aloo anar chaat with pomegranate and potato, chicken and pineapple salad, tomato with fresh mint, grated carrot with raisins, and South Indian kosambir salad.

While a selection of sweet lassi and buttermilk beverages work as the perfect accompaniment to the moreish papad, pickles and chutney, we’re sure you’ll be enamoured by the live Tandoor station. Each week the flame-licked selection will feature three kebabs, from a selection that includes parmesan chicken tikka, seekh kebab, fish tikka, gulati kebab, ajwain paneer tikka and kasturi chicken kebab. The flame-licked meats are cooked in an interactive manner from the chefs in charge of the cylindrical oven, who will also be preparing garlic naan, butter naan and Pudina paratha.

Moving onto the main courses, the selection includes several beloved curries and stews. Don’t miss the bhuna gosht, chicken jalfrezi, fish Amritsari, idli sambar or haleem, served with aromatic jeera rice and Hyderabadi mutton biryani to mop up every last drop of the delicious gravy. 

With Indian cuisine renowned for desserts, you can expect an abundance of sweet treats at Pepper Restaurant’s Taste of India theme nights. From rasmalai, jalebi and gulab jamun to chocolate mousse, banana Pudding and Lauki Halwa, expect to feast until your heart’s content with Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan’s latest culinary offering.
