The FACT Award winner is hosting seven chefs in seven weeks.

We are raising a glass to Boca’s Kitchen Takeover. The FACT Award winning wine bar has announced that it will welcome seven chefs in seven weeks. We are especially excited, as the venue has unveiled an all-female line-up. The dazzling list includes a culinary director of a five-star property, a pastry mastermind and a supper club sensation.

Boca’s Kitchen Takeover line-up includes Célia StoecklinBethany KehdySara AqelPenelope DiazGabriela ChamorroSheerin Ghaffar and Trisha Henault. Running from 24 January to 25 May, it’s a rare chance to catch some of Dubai’s most exciting chefs at this award-winning venue.  

The event kicks off with Célia Stoecklin who has worked at the MICHELIN Starred restaurants Le 7eme continent, Il Cortile and Guy Savoy. At Boca’s Kitchen Takeover, she is presenting a four-course French Mediterranean menu. Bethany Kehdy is a Dubai-based chef, best-selling cookbook author and founder of the culinary experience, Taste Lebanon. At the takeover, she is serving dishes that combine West Asian and North African flavours.

Sara Aqel has worked at the MICHELIN-Starred restaurant Al Muntaha in the Burj Al Arab, and previously managed the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant Fi’lia. She will start her residency at Boca’s Kitchen Takeover on Valentine’s Day, and will serve regional Italian cuisine. Penelope Diaz is behind Fusion Ceviche in JLT, and she will be bringing Peruvian cuisine to Boca.

Gabriela Chamorro is a Latin American chef who is best known for her supper club, Girl and the Goose. During Boca’s Kitchen Takeover, she will be sharing the story of her cultural heritage through food. Sheerin Ghaffar is a pastry superstar and works for the MICHELIN Starred restaurant, Hakkasan. At Boca, she will be creating Insta-worthy pastries and desserts. 

Trisha Henault has had a varied career, from working as the Executive Pastry Chef at 25hours Hotel to the Creative Culinary Director at Tandoor Tina’s. At Boca, she will be sharing some of Tandoor Tina’s signature dishes. 

Boca’s Kitchen Takeover dates are Célia Stoecklin on 24, 25 and 26 January; Bethany Kehdy on 7, 8 and 9 February; Sara Aqel on 14, 15 and 16 February; Penelope Diaz on 7, 8 and 9 March; Gabriela Chamorro on 14, 15 and 16 March; Sheerin Ghaffar on 9, 10 and 11 May; and Trisha Henault on 23, 24 and 25 May.
