Eggspectation’s Chef Rohan has created two menu items for the occasion of Cinco de Mayo. The new fajita dishes offer a choice of tender chicken or Angus striploin beef with sautéed bell peppers and onions, topped with cheddar cheese and served with chipotle chilli sauce, guacamole, Pico de gallo and tortillas. The limited-edition items are available for three days, Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 May 2021. AED 69.

Hotel Cartagena has created a two-hour menu of free-flowing margaritas and homemade quesadillas for the occasion. In celebration of Mexico’s biggest annual party, guests at Toro Toro will enjoy a lively atmosphere and a collection of traditional Mexican items, providing the perfect backdrop for memorable photo opportunities courtesy of venue-provided Polaroid cameras. Hostesses and waitresses wearing traditional Mexican floral hair bands will also give away small cactus plants in branded Toro Toro paper bags.
