The chef is also opening two Korean concepts and an invite-only restaurant.
Warning: Abu Dhabi’s dining scene is about to get Dangereux. Chef James Kim has announced that he is opening several new restaurants in the capital. The flagship restaurant, Dangereux, serves fine dining French food, plus an exciting range of concepts are set to follow.
Dangereux will be located in Soul Beach in Mamsha Al Saadiyat. High-end food will be at the heart of the menu, which aims to use locally sourced ingredients and create an experimental twist.
The team includes Executive Pastry Chef, Sharraf Lawal; General Manager, Yasser Machraine; and Chef de Cuisine, Llorenc Sagarara. Plus, the Beverage Director is the impressive Slovakian Erik Lorincz, who has been awarded the World’s Best Bartender of the Year.
James’ upcoming restaurant openings in Abu Dhabi include Day and Night in Al Seef Walk. The venue will be invite-only, menu-less and not serve alcohol. Plus, he’ll be drawing inspiration from his roots by opening two new Korean restaurants, Miss Korea and Miss Kim, which will both be located on Yas Island.
We’re expecting James’ new restaurants to grab the attention of the MICHELIN inspectors. James has worked in some of the world’s most famous restaurants, including New York’s Balthazar, Blanca and Le Cirque. Plus, his Abu Dhabi restaurant, Café James, was listed in MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi.
We’re ready to enter the danger zone.
