Ria, a new restaurant and beach bar, will replace Breeze Beach Grill.
“The sea gives, the mood builds, the gathering awaits.” While you can’t decipher much from the Instagram account of Ria, we have been privy to a few details about this upcoming restaurant and bar at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. Taking up residence in the space that was previously occupied by Breeze Beach Grill, the new concept comes courtesy of Addmind Hospitality – a.k.a. the company behind the likes of Babylon, Clap, Raspoutine and Sucre.
While the official launch date is yet to be revealed, we know that Ría will offer an upscale, yet relaxed dining experience rooted in the wholesomeness of Mediterranean cuisine. With that in mind, Ria is expected to serve dishes and beverages that look to the sea and Mother Nature for inspiration. Couple that with its beachside setting, and you can expect a sun-kissed spot that caters to just about everyone. Here, families can indulge in fresh and flavourful dishes, couples can unwind with a cocktail in hand, and friends can meet for a catch-up. Bonus: pets will be welcome, too.
Incidentally, the name Ria is akin to the embodiment of the tranquility of a flowing stream, borrowed from Spain’s own interpretation of a ‘small river’ – not unlike the little rías that flow through the concrete branches of Palm Jumeirah. As for the timing of Ría’s big reveal? Watch this space.
